Starting from a beloved cliché, “The Blue Danube”, Teona Galgoțiu’s film proposes an anguishing but beautiful exercise of alienation against the great imagined common histories – including cinematic ones – championing, instead, everything that is most immediate in a human connection: touch, play, confession.
